Amy Cornell: Principle of the Sevenoaks School of Dance

My name is Amy Cornell and I took over as Principal of the Sevenoaks School of Dance in August 2008 after working at the school for 2 years under the previous Principal and Founder of the school Siaron Moore.

I spent three years training at The Centre Performing Arts College where I received my teaching qualifications in ISTD Ballet, Tap and Modern along with studying a performing course specialising in dance, singing and drama. After graduating from The Centre I decided to specialise in teaching and I taught at a number of schools before coming to the Sevenoaks School of Dance.

I was delighted to be offered the chance of taking over as Principal of the school when Siaron decided to retire and I am now fully committed and extremely excited to be taking the Sevenoaks School of Dance into the future.

Natalie Alder: Teacher at the Sevenoaks School of Dance

Natalie trained at The Centre - Performing Arts College where she studied Jazz, Ballet, Modern, Tap, Musical Theatre, Singing and Drama. Whilst studying to become a performer Natalie gained two full FDI qualifications in Tap and Modern.

Natalie has been teaching for 5 years in many established schools around London, training children and adults in Tap, Modern, Ballet and Street Dance. Alongside this, Natalie has been working professionally for various people and has recently returned from a 7 month dance cruise with Carnival Cruise, which toured worldwide.

Emma Robinson: Teacher at the Sevenoaks School of Dance

"Miss Emma started dancing at the age of three and hasn't stopped since! Emma graduated from 'The Urdang Academy of Performing Arts' in 2003 after studying dance and musical theatre for 3 years. After graduating Emma performed in a number of UK productions as well as gaining her ISTD FDI teaching qualifications. Emma is a talented teacher with great enthusiasm for dance which shines through in her classes. Emma's first love is teaching and she is thrilled to be teaching at the Sevenoaks School of Dance"

"As I approach my third year of college, teaching has become something I love. I have learned that dance can not only be fun, but it can also develop self-confidence, coordination, spatial awareness, communication skills and artistic impression in children. I aim to provide the skilled tuiton children require to reach their full potential, within a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere!"
